• Where to go and what to eat when...you want to impress a date

Romance is really a subjective thing. I suppose that’s why some couples choose to honeymoon on a secluded island in the South Pacific while other’s spend it riding roller coasters at the theme parks.
But when it comes to a romantic dinner, I think most people would agree that you want someplace quiet, with soft music, someplace a bit upscale with linen tablecloths and servers who know how to be discrete and unobtrusive.
That’s why I like Venetian Chop House for all my romantic rendezvous. Until about a year ago, the restaurant at the Caribe Royale Resort was called the Venetian Room. It became Venetian Chop House to reflect a menu change that features steak and seafood.
Since this is a chop house, you can't go wrong with the steak, and I love the Filet Mignon here. If your partner is more of a seafood person, then go for the crab cake --- it's full of lump crab meat and always done beautifully.
And of course a bottle of wine adds to the romantic dinner. The Venetian’s wine experts can help you make the proper selection.
Since the Venetian Chop House is at the Caribe Royale Resort, you can get a room and make it a romantic weekend getaway. And if you find there isn’t enough to keep you occupied, there are several roller coasters just minutes away.
