Five Central Florida spots to party for St. Paddy's Day

by: Estee Martin Updated:

St. Patrick's Day is coming up and if you're like me, you're in search of the hottest parties. Orlando has so many great places to celebrate, so it was definitely hard to boil it down to five of my favorites, but I did!

Here are "Estee's Besties" for the party that's celebrated around the world!  And don’t forget to wear green... or I'll pinch ya.

1.) Liam Fitzpatrick's Restaurant and Irish Pub

This is such a great Irish pub to go to any day of the year. From the delicious beer to the Irish Nachos and fish and chips, you'll definitely find something that suits your taste-buds. But during St. Patrick's Day, the restaurant takes it up a notch with live acoustic music and Irish Bag Pipers, to a full block party taking over both sides of the street.

And we can't forget the Irish leprechaun appearance!  So if you're looking for an awesome street party on St Paddy's, definitely check this one out.

2.) Fiddler's Green Irish Pub and Eatery

Every time I enter Fiddler's Irish Pub, I feel like I've been transported to an old-timey authentic Irish tavern. It's got ornate woodwork, dart boards and an entertainment stage that hosts live performances weekly.

And we can't forget the delicious Guinness beer... it has quickly become one of my faves. I think I've got Fiddler's to blame for my newest obsession.

Now let's get down to St. Paddy's! Fiddler's is located about a block from Park Ave and opens up at 9am on St. Patrick's Day.  When you're there, make sure to try the Ulster Burger or the Shepherd's Pie.  They're so perfect.

3.) Lizzy McCormack's Irish Pub

This bar is so stinkin' cute. It is hidden downtown, so I either start my night there, or it serves as my night cap. It has a laid back atmosphere, an amazing beer selection and the awesome whiskey club. What's the Whiskey Cub you ask? Lizzy's has got over 150 of The World's finest Whiskeys, so they've created an exclusive club for connoisseurs to keep track of their whiskey drinking. Reminds me, I need to join...

And the pudding shots are always a good time.  They're served in a small plastic cup with a tasting spoon and there are over 40 flavors including: Oreo Cookie, Vanilla, M&M, Rocky Road and Strawberry Shortcake.

On St. Paddy’s, they will offer live Irish music and food and a large outdoor beer garden, Bushmill's Beer Garden.

4.) Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant

With live entertainment and Irish-born musicians and dancers, you can't go wrong with Raglan Road.  It's the place to go for everything Irish and even resembles a pub in Dublin!  It's located at the all-new Disney Springs!  You can grab brunch, lunch and dinner with items like the Braised Pork Belly and the Lobster and Avocado Salad, or the Cider Salmon and Mighty Mussels. All of these items are delicious.

I love their "Pub Grub" menu with authentic foods like Fish and Chips and those perfectly cooked sausages. These would be delicious on St. Paddy's Day after enjoying draught beers like Guinness Stout and Irish Ales or the Raglan Road Signature Brews like Tri Wishes Grand Irish Red Ale from Crooked Can brewing in Winter Garden.

You'll get to enjoy live music and Irish dancing too!

5.) Pat O’Brien’s

Pat O'Brien's is a must. With everything from Hurricanes on the Patio with the famous flaming fountain to hanging out and catching up with friends in the Main Bar, this New Orleans recreation will have you wanting more!

For St. Patrick's Day, they're offering a New Orleans-style party featuring live bands, dueling pianos, stilt walkers and bead girls. Plus, you can order some authentic Irish food. The party is expected to begin at 2 p.m. and last until 2 a.m.
